Just recently, they raised $80 Million in Series D funding. When so many major co-working spaces are struggling to break-even, Industrious is expected to make a profit in 2020.

Industrious achieved this by creating noteworthy design with a hospitality-oriented customer experience. Industrious locations are designed to keep in mind everyone’s needs, but most importantly, they’re designed to attract talent for their tenants.

Today, America is seeing the lowest unemployment rate in history, to attract talent a company has to satisfy and exceed their employees’ expectations. Industrious does this for their clients by designing co-working spaces with areas where employees can work in private concentration, while also including spaces for collaboration and community building. They succeed in creating a hospitality-like atmosphere that enhances their CX (customer experience). Unique scents was instrumental in creating a distinct, welcoming, and hospitality-like CX (customer experience). Industrious wanted to create a distinct experience as soon as the their customer walks-in through the doors of Industrious. A Signature Scent Santalum is diffused through Unique Scents’ diffusers. This signature scent reflects Industrious’s brand image, appeals to their target demographic, and creates a consistent customer experience across all of their 90 locations.

Industrious Brand Identity through a Signature Scent

Industrious Signature Scent - Santalum is a rich and welcoming scent. It opens with the smooth, milky note of Sandalwood, leading to a nostalgic papyrus. Layers of sweet comforting leather accords bring an Earthy Cedar-wood, with soft tones created by the presence of violet and iris.

Unique scents’ diffuser is used at Industrious to create a Hospitable Welcome, develop a strong Brand Identity, and create a Consistent CX (Customer Experience) across all of their ninety locations.

Signature scented candle

The Christmas Gift of Olfactory Memory for Industrious tenants was commissioned by Unique scents. The artwork was very well received by their tenants. Every aspect of the candle was customized, from the color of the candle wax, shape of the jar, label perfection to wick quality selection. A premium quality hard box was selected to reflect and reinforce the Industrious brand image.

Scent is an often-neglected component of design planning. With intensive focus on catering to the key senses of the body, from color to temperature and from touch to sound, the power of scent should never be overlooked. After all, we’re always using our sense of smell to interpret and understand the spaces we inhabit. Industrious took advantage of this opportunity to create something notable. Not only does the power of scent in a workspace help translate a creative design into a fully immersive environment, but it also acts as a tool to distinguish between zones and deliver a consistent brand experience. Studies have shown that people can remember a scent with 65% accuracy after 1 year, while visual memory sinks to 50% after only a few months.
